Robbery ... An officer detected a robbery in progress at 79th and Ogontz paths at 8:04 p.m. July 24 and located and held the suspect for Philadelphia police, authorities said. Retail larceny ... A thin, hairless, black male, around age 40, stole a cartful of tools from Home Depot, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 9:20 p.m. July 24 and entered a silver Cadillac outside inhabited by two other males and left the area, authorities said. Burglary ... Security video showed a black male wearing gray pants and a dark shirt approach the register and remove the money, authorities said. Retail larceny ... A black or Hispanic man, 5 feet 9 inches, thin, wearing a black shirt and shorts took several Red Bull drinks from Rite Aid, 1401 Cheltenham Ave., around 3:30 p.m. July 26, police said. Robbery ...
